  David Philips - Environment and Climate Change

  David Phillips - he started out teaching high school and was then hired by the Meteorological Branch of Transport Canada in 1967. In the 1990s David was filmed by the Weather Network as he presented 90-second trivia shorts about weather topics entitled "Ask the Expert." In 2025 he retired from Environment Canada after 57 years but continues to make appearances on radio and tv  as a commentator on weather and climate matters. You were certainly want to hear what David Phillips has to share.

  A Seasonal Event at The Watering Can

  Tea Garden Luncheon and a Floral Arrangement Workshop

  

  The Watering Can's Vineland Destination Location offers a unique experience upon arrival. Stroll through the Flower Market, find small treasures and enjoy a Garden Tea in the Bistro.

  After our comfortable bus trip to Vineland we will enjoy a delicious plated Garden Tea Luncheon at 11 AM. Following that, we will participate in a private  workshop where we will  create our individual seasonal floral arrangement to take home with us. 

  Before our bus departure at 3:30pm we can enjoy the remaining time browsing the market area.

  The cost of $160.00 includes transportation, Garden Tea and our guided floral arrangement workshop.

  36 tickets are available for the reserved bus, with an automatic waitlist if the member response is greater. If we have up to 20 names on the waitlist, we will be able to negotiate a larger bus (if available), allowing up to 56 total attendees for the day.

  Registering quickly is key to a successful Event!
