PROBUS FLAG RAISING CEREMONY In honour of PROBUS month, and as part of a campaign to raise awareness of PROBUS clubs, Marlene Briskin, President of the Central Burlington Women's PROBUS Club, has arranged for the PROBUS flag to be raised at the Burlington City Hall. All club members are invited. The flag will be raised at l2:00 noon on October 1st, 2024. Participants should arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the planned Flag Raising. We can meet outside in Civic Square, if the weather is nice. If the weather is rain, we can meet inside the lobby of City Hall. The Mayor will then read the proclamation inside the lobby of City Hall and then we would proceed outside with the flag raising. It will fly for one week. After the Proclamation is read the Mayor will call a club name and will ask for a Representative to come forward to collect the printed Proclamation. Kathy Russ will receive our proclamation. Please join us at the flag raising ceremony. Confirming your attendance below will help us with numbers, but is not mandatory as the ceremony is held outside.
