north Burlington Women's Probus Club
The North Burlington Women's PROBUS Club's goal is to enable regular gatherings for women who, in retirement or semi-retirement, appreciate and value opportunities to meet others and enjoy hearing guest speakers on topical subjects and having the opportunity to participate in organized events and activities.
We began in 2007 and have grown ever since. We currently have 250 active members. The strength of our Club is the enthusiasm of our Activity Convenors who identify like-minded women and facilitate them coming together to enjoy a game of cards, to walk or hike, to golf, read books or go to a movie.
We meet on the first Thursday of each month from September to June
at the Art Gallery of Burlington.
Meetings run from 10 - 11:30 a.m. The doors open at 9:30 a.m. so we can "visit".
Lunch is organized at a nearby restaurant for anyone who wants to join us.
Members are welcome to bring guests - please have them sign our Guest Book.
Parking is available for a fee and discounted yearly parking passes can be purchased.
We accept new members in September of each year.
Our 2023/24 membership dues for new members are $65. which includes a one-time $30. initiation fee. Please click on the JOIN US button below to add your name to our Wait List. We will contact you mid-July 2023 after our membership renewal drive ends. There is no charge until you agree to join us at that time.
We welcome guests of current members to our meetings. Come and see what we are about.
